Oversaw and developed the Division of Student Affairs’ storytelling efforts and the creation/distribution of branded multimedia content. Managed and implemented the division’s social media strategy, which saw a 117% increase in average engagement and a 75% increase in average reach. Recruited, trained, and supervised a newly-formed content team comprised of full-time multimedia specialists, and a staff of photo, video, and social media interns. Supported the vice chancellor for student affairs by preparing various executive and internal communication materials such emails, speeches, presentations, and newsletters. Built and led a newly-formed marketing and communications team that within two years won five national awards at the ACUHO-I Marketing Showcase. Produced, shot, and edited over 90 videos for the Ivy League Digital Network. Other responsibilities included preparing media notes/programs and managing social media accounts for assigned sports.
Amherst College, Amherst, Mass., April 2011-May 2014
Director of Sports Information
Worked with CBS Sports, NESN, and AT&T U-Verse on several televised football and basketball games, documentaries, and shows, while helping to place Amherst stories at numerous high-profile outlets including: FOX/ABC affiliates, Boston Globe, Washington Post, New York Times, Atlanta Journal Constitution, and ESPN.com. Responsible for promoting and publicizing the Amherst athletic department’s 27 varsity sports and oversaw the athletics website which published upwards of 600 stories during the course of each academic year. Other responsibilities included: overseeing Amherst Athletics’ webcasts/video production efforts and serving as the event manager for all home athletic contests.
Assistant Sports Information Director
Assisted the director of sports information in promoting and securing media coverage for Amherst’s nationally competitive athletic department. Created the Amherst Athletics Facebook page and YouTube channel and assisted with the redesign of the athletic department website.

Helped with press box setup and operations during NY Jets home games. In addition to staffing the check-in table for print/TV media, was responsible for distributing statistics/notes, assisting with general queries from media members, and transcribing quotes from postgame player/coach interviews and press conferences.
Media Assistant for the NCAA Div. I Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments
Served as a media relations assistant during the first round of the 2008 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament in Bridgeport, Conn., the 2009 NCAA Women’s Basketball Regional in Trenton, N.J., and the 2010 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament First Round in Buffalo, N.Y. Prepared game notes and collected quotes from daily news conferences and postgame interviews for media distribution.
